Who we are
This website is run by Travonic ("we", "us"), Unit 7, 17-18 Vine Court, London E1 1JH.
We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
For anything about your data, email hello@travonic.co.uk or write to us at the address above.
What this policy covers
This policy covers people who visit this website, ask for a demo, or contact us about Travonic.
It does not cover the passengers, customers and staff whose details travel agencies keep inside the Travonic software. The agency is the controller of that data and we process it on their behalf under our customer agreement and data processing terms. If you are a traveller, contact the agency you booked with.
What we collect
When you ask for a demo: your name, the name of your agency, your email address and, if you give it, your phone number.
When you email or call us: what you choose to tell us, and the date and time of the conversation.
When you visit the site: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. We do not use these to identify you.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, special category data such as health or religious beliefs.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
To reply to your demo request or enquiry and arrange the demo. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
To follow up about Travonic after a demo, by email or phone, at your business address. Lawful basis: legitimate interests. You can tell us to stop at any time and we will.
To keep the website secure and working. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
To meet legal obligations, such as keeping records for tax. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
We do not sell your data, and we do not make decisions about you by automated means alone.
Who we share it with
Our website host and email routing (Cloudflare) and our email provider (Google (Gmail)), who process data only on our instructions under their data processing terms.
Our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, when needed.
Authorities, if the law requires it.
The fonts on this site are stored on our own server, so loading a page does not send your details to a font provider.
International transfers
If a provider stores data outside the UK, we make sure it is protected by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
Demo requests and enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer.
If you become a customer: for as long as the contract lasts and then for 6 years, for legal and tax reasons.
Server logs: kept by our host for a short period, normally no more than 90 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, delete it or restrict how we use it, object to how we use it, and ask us to send it to someone else in a common format.
You can object to marketing at any time and we will stop.
Email us to use any of these rights. We reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would like the chance to put it right first.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it, and our providers are chosen for their security.
Children
This website is for businesses. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will update this page if anything changes and show the date at the top.
